RISE
A program for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students
The Academic Booster Club which has brought Nutley students the popular summer program Let's Learn for more than two decades is pleased to introduce a new Saturday program for 4th, 5th and 6th-graders. While the traditional CAT curriculum has been suspended due to budgetary constraints, we've created RISE designed to Reward, Inspire, Support, and Enrich through a variety of exciting, hands-on courses to supplement and enhance the educational experience of all students.
The Academic Booster Club mission is twofold: to foster a passion for learning through exciting, hands-on activities and to reward and celebrate academic achievement.
The Goals for R.I.S.E.-
- To promote dynamic, experiential learning
- To focus on development of collaboration and creative problem-solving
- To engage thinkers and learners to develop higher- level thinking skills.
General Information
Offered on Saturdays, these 2-hour sessions from 8:45 A.M.- 10:45 A.M. are held at NHS. No tests or grades are given. All instructors are certified teachers.
